A Decade of Audio Drama

In the summer of 2015, two colleagues, David Alan Grier and Tamara Carlton, created a podcast with the goal of putting a creative spin on the world of high technology. The two were veterans of numerous podcasts including Grier’s 2009-2011 “CrowdPod”, which became the book “Crowdsourcing for Dummies”.

However, creativity soon overtook the technology and HWMS Audio theatre was born. It now focusses on full length drama and has contributors from around the globe. We also collaborate with other theaters, both those that are online and those that only exist in the so-called physical universe, including San Francisco’s Recovery Theater, and the UK’s Alarum Theatre.
