Mother Comes Home From the Wars

The conceit of this story is that HWMS is a policy shop in Washington and that things with its major client, Talking and Shopping, are starting to spin out of control.  Congressional aide Evelyn D’Fino and Vinny discuss current state of consulting job.  Sulley is in HWMS DC office and is singing a variant of Koko’s song from Mikado. (“I’ve got a little list”). Yasmin, Alton, and Victor return from a day working Capitol Hill.  Alton is tired.  Victor orders food and new shoes from the T&S drone service.  Discussion ensues about what is trying to be done.  Sully has news that there is a movement within the capitol to get tough on big tech and make Alton the target.
